Idee erranti greets the new year with the concert of the chamber duo “The Shirvani Sisters”.
Leila and Sara, sisters of Anglo-Persian origin, were born and grown up in Rome and from an early age they have highlighted their musical talent. They have achieved excellent results in their study paths in Italy and abroad, obtaining numerous prizes at national and international level. They boast important collaborations with artists of large fame and participation in prestigious events, including an performance at the Paolina del Quirinale chapel on the occasion of the concert of April 25, 2021. They are creators of the project of The Eco Sustainable Music Academy “Eco Accademia nel bosco”.
The program chosen by the musicians for the concert offers a wide selection of pieces, some of which are well known, others less known but of great impact from a musical point of view. In particular, songs by Schumann, Rachmaninov, Beethoven, Rossini, Debussy and Paganini, Granados and De Falla will be performed. We will also have the opportunity to listen to a Persian popular melody, in homage to the family tradition of the artists.
The interpretation of the Sirvani Sisters will offer the public the emotion of an enthusiast and continuous search for beauty in music.
