The sisters Leila and Sara Shirvani offer a program of a thousand colors, a musical journey characterized by extremely contrasting pieces, each of a composer of different origin: The Shirvani Sisters begin the journey from Rachmaninov’s Russia to fly to Beethoven’s Germany: from his 7 Variations on “Bei Männenn Welche Liebe Fühlen” from the magic flute of Mozart Woo 46 we move to Italy with Rossini’s “Une Larme” to then dive into Debussy’s France with his sonata for cello and piano. The singable melodies of Persia who recall the origins of the two musicians will enchant the listener before the virtuous dance of the fire of the Spanish De Falla.

From 13 June “classic at sunset” returns. The Chamber Music Festival that IUC organizes every summer in the suggestive headquarters of the Botanical Orto Museum of the “La Sapienza” University (Largo Cristina of Sweden, 24), a secret and silent place close to Palazzo Corsini in Lungara. The Festival formula consists in presenting some of the best Italian but young and already established soloists and groups.

The ticket for each single concert costs € 10 or € 5 under 30 (+ € 4 Botanical garden entrance). On evenings where 2 concerts are scheduled – one at 20:30 and one at 21:30 pm – it is possible to buy both at the discounted price of € 16 or € 6 under 30 (+4 entrance to botanical vegetable garden).
